Overview

JML Optical Industries located in Rochester, New York, is a privately owned designer and manufacturer of precision optical components and systems. The company is dedicated to providing optimum and cost-efficient service to customers with wide ranging needs.

Since 1972, the first year of operation, JML Optical has continuously served domestic and international customers with high quality optics from prototype through high volume quantities. Currently, the Rochester, NY headquarters employs more than 90 people.

JML Optical's 110,000 square feet corporate headquarters in Rochester houses our complete precision optical design, fabrication, assembly, and metrology.

The company has the technical resources to serve customers who require a complete optical system. Customers with their own optical designs engage JML to manufacture timely prototype units. Others request that JML design and apply a customized thin film coating to already ground and polished substrates.
