Antireflective Coatings
Antireflective Coatings are designed to reduce the amount of light lost to reflection at the surfaces of individual, transmissive elements. Your choice of a coating is most influenced by the transmission required at certain wavelengths but there are seven issues involved in the design and manufacture of a high quality coating: Wavelength, transmission of reflection, polarization of light, angle of incidence, substrate material, intensity or power of the light and environmental conditions. JML offers many standard AR coatings (both broadband and narrowband) as well as custom designed coatings.
